Demand for Ayurvedic Medicine Propagation Starts at Falakata

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 10th March, 2017: Today Bangiyo Ayurvedic Maha Sangha handed over their charter of demands to the Professor Dr. Prasanta Sarkar of JB State Ayurved College. Dr. Sarkar is also the director of the Herbal Board the ex member of Central Council of Indian Medicines. The demands included:
- The people who are serving the nation with Ayurvedic medicines from generation by generation should be identified, recognized and awarded.
- Establishing of more Ayurvedic College & Hospitals
- Immediately Establishing an Ayurvedic Park in the Marked up land at Tapshikhata of Alipurduar District
- Appointing at least one Ayurvedic Doctor in all Primary Health Centers, Rural Health Centers, Rural Hospitals, District Hospitals Super Speciality Hospitals, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations and Gram Panchayats.
- Taking action against the Black marketeering of Ayurvedic Medicines.
In this connection the chairman of Bongio Ayurvedic Mahasangh Mr. Jyotirmoy Ramanandi and Secretary Mr. Tapan Bhattacharya said “We have handed over the demands and also have sent the copy to the Ministry of Health, Government of India, Secretary of State Health Department, Health Minister of the state.
